Feeling mentally or physically stuck? Inversions can bring more presence to your mind and body, they can support you shifting from “victim” perspective to “creator” perspective.
This 5-week series will focus on building your relationship to inverted yoga poses, and to an alternative view of every situation. Alternatives for all levels will be offered—all that “inversion” truly means is head lower than heart.
From downward dog and dolphin to handstand and forearm balance to reclined legs up the wall—you will learn what you need to warm up and strengthen, what you need to recruit and call on for stronger, struggle-resistant inversions.
Dive into inversions. Pursue your core strength. Quest to shift your perspective, your belief, on the mat and in your life.
But don’t worry — we will also excavate your hips, and extend your spine into backbends, and extend and rotate your torso into twists. We’ll just do all of these in the context of prepping for inversions.
Some prior yoga experience is helpful. All levels are welcome.
