About Me

I have been practicing various styles of yoga since 2000, and chiefly Forrest Yoga since 2008.

I completed the Level 1 (200-hour) certification as a Forrest Yoga teacher with Ana Forrest in 2014 and began teaching a few months later. Forrest Yoga still intrigued me, so I completed Level 2 certification with Erica Mather in 2016, and Level 3 certification with Cat Allen and Heidi Sormaz in 2018.

I also trained as a Level 1 iRest Yoga Nidra teacher with Richard Miller in 2018, and as a First Degree Reiki Practitioner with Moira Notargiacomo in 2019.

I have 20 hours of training in Yoga TuneUp anatomy-focused work, and a half-dozen hours of training in restorative yoga.

Today I merge all of the above in my teaching, plus whatever has recently inspired me. My focus is on building strength and tenacity, and exploring some of the more challenging aspects of our humanness through deep breathing, centering, grounding, and how we hold ourselves together (and how we don’t) in each practice.

I offer both regular weekly classes and private sessions.

Howling Hound is my small home studio in Woodstock, Vermont. To schedule a private session or join my classes there, please email me.
