Inspired by Anne Lamott’s story of her brother’s overwhelm as a young boy faced with a report about birds, this series is about taking it one step at a time, on the mat and in your life.
Each week we’ll take a different theme—hips, twists, backbends, arm balances, inversions. We will deconstruct more challenging yoga postures. I’ll talk about why we are doing what we are doing, and provide stages for stopping and staying out of overwhelm, so you feel safe moving forward, step by step.
- Class 1: hips 
- Class 2: twists 
- Class 3: backbends 
- Class 4: arm balances 
- Class 5: inversions 
Some yoga experience is helpful, but it is appropriate for all levels ~ you can stop at whatever stage works for you.
There are three ways to join:
- live on Zoom 
- limited live in-studio (click here for availability and to reserve an in-person spot)* 
- by video replay for 1 week after class (everyone registered will receive the link)
