About Me

I have been practicing various styles of yoga since 2000, and chiefly Forrest Yoga since 2008. I have been teaching since 2014.

I recently trained with Sandra Robinson in REbalance Yoga, which combines Forrest Yoga with accessing body resources and skills to bring more embodied presence.

I completed Level 3 training as a Forrest Yoga teacher, studying with Ana Forrest, Erica Mather, Cat Allen, and Heidi Sormaz.

I also trained as a Level 1 iRest Yoga Nidra teacher with Richard Miller, and as a First Degree Reiki practitioner with Moira Notargiacomo.

I have 20 hours of training in Yoga TuneUp anatomy-focused work, and a half-dozen hours of training in restorative yoga.

Today I merge all of the above in my teaching, plus whatever has recently inspired me.

My focus is on building strength and tenacity, and exploring some of the more challenging aspects of our humanness through deep breathing, centering, grounding, and how we hold ourselves together (and how we may not) in each practice and in our lives.

I currently offer weekly group classes.

Howling Hound is my small home studio in Woodstock, Vermont. To find out more or join my classes there, please email me.
